Job summary

Amergis is hiring a School Aide in Tilton, NH to work under the supervision of the special education department. The role supports students needing instructional and behavioral assistance and may provide mobility and therapeutic care support as prescribed.

The position is a full-time contract with a pay rate of $22 per hour and a 32.50-hour work week. Eligibility requires a high school diploma, CPR if applicable, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR, if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and/or behavioral support under supervision.
• Provide support services for personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals.
• Collaborate with the special education department and supervising designee to implement instructional plans.

The School Aide is an individual who works with studentsrequiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision ofthe special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
