Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide in Laconia, NH to support students needing instructional and behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department. The role may involve personal and mobility support as defined by health professionals.

Contract - Full Time with a 32.50 hour week, pay $23 per hour. Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR where applicable, health certificate, and meeting all regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department, teacher or designee.
• Provides support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals.

The School Aide is an individual who works with studentsrequiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision ofthe special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide supportservices to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeuticcare needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, socialworker or other health care professional.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
