Amergis is seeking a School Aide in Westminster, CA for a part-time contract role. The position involves supporting students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and teachers.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals. The role requires a high school diploma, CPR if applicable, and compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

The School Aide is an individual who works with studentsrequiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Current CPR if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
