Job summary

Children's Choice Academy in Escondido, CA is seeking an experienced School-Age Teacher (Driver) to join our preschool program. Your role includes delivering age-appropriate curriculum, supervising children, and transporting them to and from schools and activities.

The position is full-time, at-will, hourly non-exempt with a Monday–Friday schedule; offers benefits such as medical/dental/vision, paid time off, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication abilities and teamwork skills.
• Requires 12 ECE units including core courses and one elective.
• California Driver's License and clean driving record are mandatory.
• Must meet DSS background clearance and hold Mandated Reporter certification.
• Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool and school-age children.
• Create engaging, safe, and inclusive learning environments.
• Supervise children indoors and outdoors at all times.
• Facilitate transportation of children to and from schools and activities.
• Maintain classroom organization and comply with licensing requirements.
• Communicate progress with parents and collaborate with staff.
