Job summary

Children's Choice is seeking an experienced Preschool / School-Age Teacher (Driver) at our Lakeside (Woodside) location to implement age-appropriate curriculum and support children's development. This role involves transporting children to and from schools and activities, maintaining a safe classroom, communicating with families, and collaborating with teachers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 12 ECE units with required content.
• Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record.
• 2 years preschool/school-age teaching experience preferred.
• Must pass DSS background clearance and have Mandated Reporter, Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Comfortable transporting children and following all transportation safety procedures.
• Team-oriented and able to work with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Implement curriculum and create engaging learning experiences for preschool and school-age children.
• Develop weekly lesson plans aligned with themes and developmental goals.
• Create a nurturing, safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and inventory per licensing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and company policies.
• Communicate progress with parents regularly.
• Safely transport children to/from schools and approved activities.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain a safe vehicle.
• Supervise children indoors and outdoors at all times.
• Collaborate with teachers and leadership to support program success.
