Qualifications

• Education and permit requirements vary by center needs and target age group.
• AA degree or higher in ECE/CD or related field from a recognized college.
• Teacher Permit or higher issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum connected to children’s interests.
• Create, implement, and maintain enriched learning environments age-appropriate for all children.
• Provide excellent customer service by establishing authentic, culturally responsive relationships with children, families, and communities.
• Keep children healthy and safe through supervision, positive interactions, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver high-quality programs and creative workplaces.
