The Learning Experience in Manassas City, VA is seeking a School Age Teacher for before and after school care. The role offers a split shift with morning and afternoon hours, Monday through Friday, in a welcoming classroom setting.

Ideal candidates have prior childcare experience with school-age children, are reliable for both shifts, and demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills to support students and families within Virginia licensing standards.

Qualifications

School Age Teacher - Before & After School

The Learning Experience - Manassas City, VA

Pay: $16-$18 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Friday, 6:15 AM-9:30 AM and 3:15 PM-6:15 PM

The Learning Experience - Manassas City is seeking an experienced School Age Teacher to create a fun, welcoming environment for children before and after their school day.

This split-shift position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with school-age children and is looking for consistent weekday morning and afternoon hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage school-age children before and after school
• Plan age-appropriate games, art, activities, and enrichment experiences
• Support homework, reading, and quiet activities as appropriate
