Tiny Town Childcare & Learning Center - Kent and Painesville in Ohio is hiring a School Age Teacher for our before-and-after-school program. You will supervise and engage school-age children, support homework, and run structured activities in a safe, welcoming environment.

We offer opportunities for School Age Endorsement training, a Monday–Friday schedule, and competitive starting pay of $15.00–$17.00 per hour, with benefits and professional development support.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare or youth programming is preferred.
• Education is preferred - CDA, Early Childhood coursework, or related college classes.
• High school diploma is required.
• Willingness to complete School Age Endorsement training (provided if needed).
• Bus driving experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain a safe, structured environment for school-age children.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, positive, and organized classroom environment.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, and academic development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families through consistent communication.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, energetic School Age Teacher to support our before-and-after-school program and provide a safe, engaging environment for children. Experience in childcare or youth programming is preferred, and we are willing to offer School Age Endorsement classes for candidates who are eager to grow in the field.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM-5:30 PM
• Starting pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
