A community-based organization in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time School Age Child Care Assistant Teacher to make a lasting impact in the lives of children. In this role, you will assist the Site Supervisor in creating a safe and engaging environment for children in grades K–6. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children, strong communication skills, and a passion for education. Pay ranges from $12 to $14 per hour, requiring CPR certifications within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must meet the qualifications for Assistant Teacher under DCF 251 Licensing Rules.
• Experience working with children ages 5–12 preferred.
• Positive attitude and a passion for working with school-age kids.

As a School Age Child Care Assistant Teacher, you will support the Site Supervisor in creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for children in grades K–6. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with kids, love to play, and are looking for meaningful part-time work.

Pay: $12 - $14/hour

Work Schedule (school year)

Monday – Friday 6:25 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Must meet the qualifications for Assistant Teacher under DCF 251 Licensing Rules for Group Child Care Centers
• Experience working with children ages 5–12 preferred
• A positive attitude and a passion for working with school‑age kids
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
• Patience, flexibility, and creativity are a must

• Must complete a health examination and fingerprint background check prior to employment

Certifications (Required within 60 days of hire)
