Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant Site Director for the Before and After School Programs at Marian E. McKeown Elementary School in Newton, NJ. The role is part-time, non-exempt, and follows the school calendar.

Paid benefits include employer-paid childcare, telehealth, 401(k), and more. Morning 7:00–8:15 and afternoon 3:00–6:00 shifts are available; opportunities for morning, afternoon, or both.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or early childhood coursework preferred
• 1-3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting
• Some experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required
• Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances.

Responsibilities

• Support before- and after-school program operations at Marian E. McKeown Elementary School
• Help maintain program quality so kids are engaged, safe, and having fun
• Assist with staffing to ensure the site is fully staffed daily and teachers are supported
• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and proper records are kept
• Assist with inventory and supplies to prevent shortages mid-week
