Job summary

Old Colony YMCA is seeking an Assistant Group Leader at the Stoughton Branch to help supervise youth activities and support a safe, engaging environment for children. You will assist with curriculum implementation, behavior management, and daily program operations.

The role requires interaction with parents and staff, adherence to policies, and participation in regular training. Flexible hours, including some early mornings and weekends, are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the program to ensure a safe, healthy environment for all children.
• Help implement the program curriculum in line with EEC regulations and Old Colony Y policies.
• Attend staff and curriculum meetings and maintain attendance and reports.
