Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a School-Age Childcare Assistant Site Director for the Bethel and Penn-Bernville elementary locations for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, non-exempt role aligns with the school calendar, with morning and afternoon shifts totaling about 7:00 AM–8:35 AM and 3:20 PM–6:30 PM.

Responsibilities include regulatory leadership, program and staff leadership, and operations coordination, ensuring safety and high-quality childcare for ages 5–12.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or human services field with required experience.
• Bachelor's degree including 30 credit hours in related fields plus 2 years of experience.
• Associate's degree in related fields plus required years of experience.
• Associate's degree including 30 credit hours in related fields plus 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Licensing Leadership: ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulations; maintain files and documentation; audit-ready program.
• Program & Staff Leadership: lead engaging activities (STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, homework support); supervise children and staff; maintain safe ratios.
• Operations & Communication: oversee daily attendance, registration and scheduling; liaise with families, school administration, and main office; use Playground App for communication.
