Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Lead for our Before and After School Program at Penn-Bernville Elementary School in Bernville, PA for the 2026–2027 school year.

The position is part-time, non-exempt and follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon shifts (7:00 AM–8:35 AM and 3:20 PM–6:30 PM). Employer-paid childcare and other benefits are available. Applicants should be 18+, pass background checks, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
• Must be medically fit to perform job duties including a clear TB
• Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities) and homework completion
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model
• Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school policies
• May perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing
