Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Penn-Bernville Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. The role supports learning through play, supervision, and positive role modeling, with shifts following the school calendar (morning and/or afternoon: 7:00 AM–8:35 AM; 3:20 PM–6:30 PM).

Part-time, non-exempt position offering employer-paid childcare and other benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience working with children under 13.
• Must pass a full background check including fingerprinting and references.
• Must be medically fit to perform job duties including clear TB.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion).
• Provide a safe, healthy and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies.
• Support program operations including attendance records, registration, and staffing.
