Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a School-Age Childcare Lead for the Before and After School Program at Penn-Bernville Elementary School in Bernville, PA for the 2026–2027 school year. Schedule follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon slots.

The position is part-time and non-exempt, offering a pay rate of $16.00 per hour and benefits such as employer-paid childcare, telehealth, and more. Candidates should have related education credentials and experience with school-age children.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a full background check including fingerprinting and references.
• Must be medically fit to perform job duties, including a clear TB.
• Warm, friendly, professional and reliable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physically able to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and serve as a positive role model for children.
• Comply with state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Some positions may perform management tasks such as attendance records, registration, and staffing.
