Job summary

YMCA is seeking a School Age Child Care Assistant in Coplay, PA for part-time, hourly shifts 7:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm, at $15.50-$17.00 per hour. Join a mission-driven nonprofit that values community and fun while supporting working families.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have 2+ years working with children, a high school diploma or college credits, and 1+ year of leadership experience. Clearances are required, with meaningful responsibilities supporting the site director and helping kids

• 1+ year of Leadership/Supervisory experience in a child care setting
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances

• Being patient and kind with our parents
• Assisting the site director with day to day functions of before or after school daycare program
• Aiding the kids through activities, snack time, homework etc.
