Job summary

Middletown Christian Early Learning Center in Franklin, OH is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our school age class to support K–5 students. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM–8:30 AM and 1:00 PM–6:00 PM during the school year, starting ASAP.

Qualifications include CDA/AA/BA, childcare experience preferred, strong communication, teamwork, and a solid understanding of child development. CPR/First Aid training within 90 days is required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with staff, children and parents.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• CPR and First Aid training within 90 days of hire (training provided).
• Must clear background check and health screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum for school-age class.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to support social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
• Ensure center policies and state regulations are met and maintain hygiene, safety and security.
• Maintain records and files; work with all ages in ELC when needed.
• Develop personal professional development plan with 10 clock hours of training.
