Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for the Before and After School Program in Arlington Central School District. The role follows the school calendar with morning and/or afternoon shifts, and offers employer-paid childcare benefits.

Part-time, non-exempt position requiring a high school diploma or 1 year of child-care experience. Physical activity and strong interpersonal skills are essential to support and supervise children aged 5–12.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following theHealthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art and other group activities, plus homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
• Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
• Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.
