Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Programs in Connecticut for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position is part-time, non-exempt. Schedule follows the school calendar with Morning Program 7:00 AM–8:50 AM and Afternoon Program 3:00 PM–5:30 PM, with opportunities for morning, afternoon, or both.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with HS diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience with kids under 13 preferred.
• Health clearance including TB screening per state regulations.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, reliability.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities including fitness, STEAM, art, and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and engaging environment and be a positive role model.
• Observe school and program policies and assist with attendance/registration.
• Support program operations and staffing responsibilities.
