Wolters Kluwer is seeking a mid-to-senior editorial operations professional to manage and grow a portfolio of scholarly journals. You will drive editorial development, coordinate cross-functional teams, and nurture relationships with editors, societies, and authors to ensure high-quality publication outcomes.

You will monitor portfolio performance, contribute to budgeting, and synthesize stakeholder feedback to inform product enhancements and services.

Competenze

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in print and digital publishing; STM publishing preferred.

Mansioni

• Support development and execution of publishing strategies for journals.
• Manage editorial development through regular communication with editors, authors, medical societies, and stakeholders.
• Build relationships with editors and society partners to support journal growth.
• Monitor journal and portfolio financial performance and assist budgeting/forecasting.
• Gathers and analyzes KPIs to prepare reports for boards and partners.
• Collaborate to enhance journal processes, products, features, and services.
• Support contract renewals, new opportunities, sponsorships, and growth activities.
• Promote journals through conferences, meetings, and campaigns to increase awareness.
• Synthesize feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Provide project management by coordinating activities and milestones.
• Ensure timely publication and metadata management across platforms.
