Job summary

LexisNexis is seeking a Senior Journal Manager to oversee end-to-end publication operations across a journal portfolio. You will optimize workflows, delight authors and reviewers, and maintain strong relationships with editors, publishers and researchers to meet quality and speed targets.

You will lead continuous-improvement initiatives, configure journal systems, monitor trends, troubleshoot problems, and collaborate with the Journal Operations team to advance publication outcomes and customer

Responsibilities

Be accountable for author and reviewer journeys across your journal portfolio, monitoring trends, bottlenecks and anomalies.
Troubleshoot publication problems using established procedures, ensuring effective resolution.
Deliver a high standard of customer support to researchers to maximise their satisfaction.
Develop strong relationships with editors, publishers, societies and researchers to meet shared objectives.
Adopt an innovative, continuous-improvement mindset; analyze data and workflows to improve speed and efficiency.
Be accountable for optimizing journal configuration and workflows in line with strategy with internal stakeholders.
Lead discussion with internal and external contacts to guide workflows and changes that benefit journals.
Champion change; progress your portfolio and participate in projects that drive improvements.
