Taylor & Francis, a leader in academic publishing, invites applications for an Associate Publisher or Publisher to lead a journals portfolio in the Humanities, Media and the Arts. You will drive strategic plans that enhance quality and profitability, build partnerships, and strengthen brand presence.

In this role, you will negotiate with societies and editors, represent the brand at conferences, and collaborate across departments to meet revenue targets while upholding rigorous publication

Qualifications

• Solid background in academic publishing, with knowledge of publication ethics and peer review processes.
• Familiarity with open access publishing models, impact metrics, and funder mandates.

Responsabilités

• Lead and grow a portfolio of journals, driving quality, growth and profitability, while meeting revenue and article volume targets.
• Build partnerships with academic societies, editors, and communities; represent the company at conferences and board meetings.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform journal development decisions.
• Improve journal rankings and reputation through data-driven initiatives.
• Negotiate contracts with societies, editors, and contributors.
• Develop plans to expand the portfolio, including launching new journals or transitioning to open access models.
• Act as a thought leader in academic publishing at industry events and panels.
• Ensure compliance with ethical publishing standards and policies.
