College Track in East Palo Alto, CA is hiring an Academic Advisor to deliver our academic curriculum and provide scholar-centered advising from high school through the College Thrive phase. The role collaborates with College Counselors and Thrive Coaches to ensure scholars are challenged, supported, and guided by a Consolidated Education Plan (CEP).

You will track GPA and readiness indicators, apply data insights to plan supports, and build strong relationships with scholars and families while

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in academic advising, teaching, or youth development.
• Preferred Spanish bilingual
• Experience using academic and developmental data to personalize support and inform scholar growth plans
• Academic advising experience within a college-access institution is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across lines of difference

Responsabilités

• Deliver College Track’s Academic Curriculum across grade levels with rigor and relevance.
• Co-create and maintain a holistic Consolidated Education Plan (CEP) for each scholar.
• Track academic performance indicators and intervene as needed.
• Collaborate with counselors, advisors, and Thrive coaches for seamless advising across phases.
• Lead proactive outreach to school counselors, teachers, and caregivers.
• Maintain a caseload of scholars and support their academic and personal development journey.
