Responsibilities

• Supervise and train 5–7 employees across lake refreshment, lake dock and mini golf operations.
• Enforce opening/closing procedures and cash handling protocols.
• Inspect facilities for safety, report deficiencies, and coordinate maintenance with the manager.
• Maintain a welcoming, cheerful demeanor with guests and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure shelters and restrooms are clean and accessible daily.
• Lock and secure facilities at close and coordinate with park personnel for money pickup.
• Foster safe operations and positive working relationships among staff.

Salary Range: $11.00 To $13.00 Hourly

Individual will oversee the daily operation of the lake facility and surrounding area. Ensure the guests have a safe and fun environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversee and assist in training staff
• Follows opening & closing procedures
• Counts the money in the safe and distributes the money to the registers
• Ensures that daily operation procedures are followed
• Periodically inspects playground equipment for unsafe areas and report any deficiencies to the manager
• Verify shelters and restrooms are open and clean daily
• Locks up building at end of day and calls the park ranger to pick-up the money
• Maintain a safe environment at the lake and playground
• Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee 5-7 employees at the lake refreshment, lake dock, and mini golf operations. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
