Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Scheduling Trainer to support scheduling staff training, onboarding, education compliance, and competency programs in Chesapeake, VA. This full-time contract-to-hire role is onsite Monday-Friday.

You will serve as the Epic scheduling workflows SME, deliver training, track completion, prepare reports, and help ensure audit readiness. Epic certification or the ability to obtain it within a year is required.

Qualifications

• Epic Certification or credentialing, or ability to obtain within one year.
• Prior trainer, educator, lead, or onboarding experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
• Experience juggling multiple priorities in a healthcare setting.

Scheduling Trainer

Schedule: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire

Work Setting: Onsite (Monday-Friday)

Seeking a Scheduling Trainer with strong experience to support scheduling staff training, onboarding, education compliance, and competency programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training and onboarding for scheduling staff.
• Serve as the Epic subject matter expert for scheduling workflows.
• Coordinate education sessions, track training completion, and maintain records.
• Support compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and organizational requirements.
• Develop training materials and provide ongoing staff education.
• Prepare reports and support audit readiness initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Epic Certification/Credentialing or ability to obtain within one year.
• Previous trainer, educator, lead, or onboarding experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a healthcare environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
