Job summary

Access Community Care is seeking a Scheduling and Outreach Specialist to support daily scheduling, staffing coordination, and outreach for IDD services in Beaverton, Oregon. You will collaborate with the Department Director, DSPs, participants, families, and community partners to ensure reliable service delivery.

The role emphasizes accurate scheduling, proactive staffing, and strong communication to help participants achieve personal goals and stay connected to their communities.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Clear background checks as defined by state regulations and company policies.
• Minimum 1 year of experience providing services in the IDD field.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership or scheduling experience preferred.
• Requires access to a car, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
• Demonstrated ability to provide culturally sensitive services with authenticity and empathy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide ADL/DSA services with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for DSPs, participants, families, and case managers.
• Conduct routine timekeeping and schedule audits; identify discrepancies and correct schedules.
• Manage daily scheduling changes and maintain accurate attendance records.
• Maintain current schedules for DSPs and participants and address open shifts promptly.
• Proactively fill open shifts by matching DSP availability with participant needs.
• Monitor hours and utilization to prevent overages and underutilization.
• Coordinate onboarding to move cleared DSPs into active schedules quickly.
• Communicate scheduling barriers and escalate to leadership as needed.
• Provide training and ongoing support on scheduling procedures and systems.
• Maintain timely communication with all stakeholders and participate in on-call rotations.
