Grow Developmental Disability Solutions is seeking a Direct Support Worker to assist children and adults with developmental disabilities in Beaverton, Oregon. You will help with daily routines, community participation, and personalized goals, delivering compassionate support one-on-one.

Qualifications

Current Clients Needing Additional Support

Client 1 (Beaverton):

• Female | 18 yrs | 97007
• Schedule: Looking for help on the weekends- Saturday 2-8pm. Also weekdays from 2-3pm
• Likes: Her family, iPad, videos, she likes to play independently, work, draw, art and bubbles. She likes the freedom to explore her world. She likes badminton and vocally singing to herself.
• Needs: She needs help increasing her independence in the community with 2:1 support. Help with behavior redirection, encouragement for movement and exercise and help attending her activities such as art class. Help using her AACdevice, hygiene, toileting routines and basic household tasks.

Requirements

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must be able to successfully pass all state-required background checks and meet all ODDS employment eligibility requirements.
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)
