Job summary

Developmental Options seeks a Scheduling Manager to oversee staffing for the ICF/IID program, develop and maintain schedules, and support leadership with operational tasks. The role may involve on-floor coverage during shortages to ensure quality care and minimize overtime.

The position requires strong communication, scheduling proficiency, and flexibility for varied hours including some evenings and weekends. CPR/First aid is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google tools, and scheduling software.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.
• Prior experience in residential care for adults and children with developmental disabilities.
• CPR/First aid certification is a plus.
• 21+ with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Schedule planning, coordination, and coverage across shifts and locations.
• Serve as primary contact for scheduling questions and changes.
• Schedule and manage required staff training.
• Manage sick and vacation time requests per policy.
• Communicate scheduling needs with staff and train on resources.
• Monitor attendance and address issues per disciplinary processes.
• Provide hands-on floor support during staffing shortages.
• On-call duties as assigned and collaborate with HR.
