Job summary

Blue Line Security Solutions LLC in Mokena, IL is seeking a Scheduling Manager to own the master schedule across client sites, including 24/7 and multi-shift accounts.

You will fill shifts, verify officer credentials (PERC/FOID where required), monitor overtime, and collaborate with operations managers and account managers to meet 100% post coverage while maintaining accurate attendance and payroll integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of scheduling, dispatch, or workforce coordination experience in a 24/7 environment.
• Proficiency with scheduling/workforce management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to coordinate with Operations Managers, field supervisors, and account managers.
• Illinois PERC active and compliant where post requires it.

Responsibilities

• Build, publish, and maintain schedules for all client sites, including 24/7 and multi-shift accounts.
• Fill open shifts, call-offs, and no-shows quickly to maintain 100% post coverage.
• Monitor and control overtime; identify recurring coverage gaps and recommend staffing fixes.
• Verify that every scheduled officer holds a current PERC (and FOID/Firearm Control Card where needed).
• Coordinate daily with Operations Managers, field supervisors, and account managers on coverage changes and client requests.
• Maintain accurate time and attendance records and resolve punch discrepancies before payroll.
• Track fill rate, overtime, unbilled hours, and turnover trends for leadership.
• Support onboarding by scheduling new officers into training and initial posts.
• Serve in an after-hours on-call rotation for urgent coverage issues.
• Supervise and develop scheduling/dispatch staff as the team grows.
• Partner with HR on attendance documentation and leave-related coverage.

This role owns the master schedule — building it, protecting it, and fixing it when things go sideways at 2 a.m. You'll work side by side with our operations Managers and field supervisors to make sure every post is filled by a properly licensed officer, every day.This is a fast-moving, people-heavy role.
