Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. in Lockport, LA seeks a Scheduling Manager with 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience to guide Integrated Master Schedules for new vessel construction at Bollinger Louisiana shipyards.

You will manage a scheduling team, establish baselines, coordinate with supervisors, and produce schedule reports for program and production management, ensuring time and cost plans reflect latest information.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience leading a team.
• Project experience using Primavera P6 scheduling toolset.
• Minimum of 7 years of shipyard scheduling experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and manages the Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) activities for new vessel construction at Bollinger Louisiana shipyards.
• Manages team members and IMS projects for all new construction vessels.
• Establishes schedule baselines and ensures control mechanisms are in place to monitor performance.
• Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
• Notifies management of situations that will affect the project schedules.
• Reviews overall project status with program managers and operations management; develops schedule reports for distribution with program and production management.
• Liaises with other departments at all meetings relevant to project operations and ensures time and cost plans reflect latest information.
• Provides and maintains appropriate reporting for management.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated Scheduling Manager with at least 3 to 5 years of progressive experience leading a team. The candidate will

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience leading a team
• Project experience using Primavera P6 scheduling toolset
• Minimum of 7 years of shipyard scheduling experience preferred

SKILLS

• Well-organized with directly applicable experience in resource planning and scheduling
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Superior problem-solving ability to minimize cost and schedule delay
• Good communication skills, including written and oral communication
• Capable of multi-tasking and handling large volumes of work
• Knowledge of ship building processes, toolsets, and module construction processes
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning and Just In-Time material scheduling
