POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated Production Program Manager with at least 8 years of experience in a shipbuilding or related manufacturing field setting, including production planning/scheduling or production supervisory experience. The candidate will coordinate and lead the build strategy efforts and activities for completing vessels, working under the general direction of the Program Management department.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a shipbuilding or related manufacturing field setting, including production planning/scheduling or production supervisory experience
SKILLS
  • Highly knowledgeable in ship production practices and procedures
  • Ability to analyze and interpret blueprints and production drawings
  • Capable of planning cost-effective work procedures compatible with quality requirements
  • Effective communication, instructional, and leadership skills for directing a production team
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem‑solving ability and capability of multi‑tasking
  • Knowledgeable of USCG, regulatory, and customer requirements, as well as craft‑specific processes and techniques
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate the entire effort of activities on the vessel(s), including monitoring the status of all production budgets and schedules
  • Oversee the efforts of production and subcontract crafts
  • Manage material/receiving orders and develop compartment completion and delivery schedules
  • Act as the primary contact with the owner’s representative on production aspects of the project
