Job summary

Moxie Pest Control is seeking a Scheduling Manager to optimize routes and lead a scheduling team across 32 branch locations. You will coach direct reports, implement scheduling strategies, and partner with Finance to forecast work pool volumes, while ensuring adherence to best practices and driving KPI improvements.

The role combines hands-on leadership with data-driven oversight to align office and field teams with strategic goals and cost efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in scheduling or operations, ideally multi-site/branch
  • Proven experience coaching direct reports
  • Excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience with route optimization tools or logistics software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Optimize delivery/service routes across 32 branch locations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost
  • Monitor and adjust scheduling strategies as branch needs shift
  • Provide monthly coaching sessions, observations, and performance evaluations for direct reports
  • Monitor adherence to best-practice processes across branches to prevent operational drift
  • Deliver training to build team skills and consistency in scheduling practices
  • Lead hiring for scheduling team roles, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding
  • Report job pool completion status in monthly meetings with leadership
  • Inform senior leadership on work pool state and risks to completion
  • Partner with Finance on forecasted projections and work pool volume planning
  • Build and maintain spreadsheets/tracking tools to monitor KPIs for office and field
  • Use KPI data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities

Job description

The Scheduling Manager is responsible for optimizing route efficiency across all 32 branch locations, developing and coaching a team of scheduling employees, and serving as the key liaison between branch leadership, Contact Center Leadership, regional management, and finance on workpool planning and completion. This role blends hands-on people management with data-driven operational oversight to ensure both office and field teams are performing efficiently against KPIs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure delivery/service routes are optimized across all 32 branch locations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost
  • Monitor and adjust scheduling strategies as branch needs and volumes shift
  • Provide monthly coaching sessions, observations, and performance evaluations for each direct report
  • Monitor and reinforce adherence to current best-practice processes across all branches to prevent operational drift.
  • Deliver ongoing office training to build team skills and ensure consistency in scheduling practices
  • Lead hiring efforts for open positions on the scheduling team, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Hold monthly meetings with branch managers and regional leaders to report on job pool completion status
  • Keep senior leadership informed on the overall state of the job/work pool and any risks to completion
  • Partner closely with Finance on forecasted projections and work pool volume planning
  • Build and maintain key spreadsheets/tracking tools to monitor KPIs for both office and field employees
  • Use KPI data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement
Qualifications:
  • 3 of experience in scheduling or operations, ideally across multi-site/branch environments
  • Proven experience managing and coaching direct reports
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Regional Managers, Office, and Branch Managers
  • Experience with route optimization tools or logistics software a plus
