Ascension Health is seeking a Senior Scheduling Leader in Austin, TX to drive enterprise scheduling strategy and governance. You will partner with clinical and operational leaders to align staffing targets with labor budgets and patient care needs.
You will oversee best practices, promote schedule integrity, and guide continuous improvement initiatives across ministries. Prior experience in healthcare scheduling operations is preferred.

Provides enterprise leadership for advancing scheduling strategy, standards, and performance across Ascension.
Responsible for overseeing the implementation/ sustainment of scheduling best practices, and partnering with operational and clinical leaders to ensure alignment with staffing targets, labor budgets, and patient care needs.
Leads initiatives that strengthen schedule integrity, reduce premium labor, and promote equitable and transparent scheduling processes.
Provides oversight of scheduling governance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to advance Scheduling Excellence across ministries.
Responsible for working with market schedulers to improve schedule quality, timeliness, accuracy and completeness and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met in these areas.
Education:
Healthcare industry background.
3+ years of experience in scheduling operations, workforce management, or staff coordination.
Experience with an enterprise scheduling platform (such as UKG) preferred.
