Job summary

WTS Energy is seeking a Schedule Engineer in Charlotte, NC to support the management team with project cash flow preparation and resources planning. You will develop and maintain CPM schedules, assist in training for Primavera P6, and provide technical support.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, along with at least 5 years of experience in scheduling and familiarity with construction practices.

• Familiar with a variety of construction concepts and practices.

Job description

WTS Energy is recruiting for a Schedule Engineer in Charlotte, NC to assist the management team in the preparation of the project cash flow as well as assists the estimators in planning the resources required for the project, verify objectives, and sets up the WBS structure.

Requirements

• Support field construction teams by developing and maintaining CPM schedules in coordination with onsite personnel.
• Deliver Primavera P6 training to project site teams when required.
• Provide continuous technical assistance related to scheduling software and project scheduling matters.
• Assist in the preparation and review of pre‑construction and post‑award CPM schedules in line with client requirements.
• Support project teams with implementing significant schedule revisions and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Travel periodically to project sites to develop schedules, support schedule updates, and conduct Primavera P6 training for both field and regional office staff.
• Manage the procurement and allocation of Primavera P6 licenses.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of experience in scheduling.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 Scheduling Software.
• Familiar with a variety of construction concepts, practices and procedures applicable in the construction of major infrastructure projects.
