You will ensure timely referrals, verify insurance, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while collaborating with providers and facilities. The role requires strong organization, excellent communication, and proficient use of scheduling software and Athena EMR to improve efficiency and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of medical administrative experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and optimize schedules for psychiatry practitioners across multiple facilities.
• Coordinate referrals, insurance verifications, and census data as required.
• Utilize scheduling software and EHR to streamline processes and ensure data accuracy.
• Generate reports on scheduling metrics to support decision-making.
