• Verify accuracy of scheduling in the electronic scheduling system.

These may include, but are not limited to: follow-upappointments, physician consultations, hospital follow-up appointments and diagnostic tests/ hospitalprocedures. The Scheduling Coordinator will obtain any required registration, insurance coverageinformation, referrals and / or pre-certifications from insurance carriers needed. The SchedulingCoordinator will confirm patients' diagnostic appointments, and any scheduled hospital procedures,updates and maintains hospital cards, updates providers with information, and faxes and/orcommunicates medical information as needed.
