Job description

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you are responsible for scheduling patient appointments, handling phone calls, and ensuring accurate data entry in the Electronic Health Record ( EHR ) system. Key tasks include explaining treatments to patients, scheduling and confirming appointments, and maintaining accurate treatment plans and appointment data. The Scheduling Coordinator optimizes daily, weekly, and monthly patient schedules, discusses financial arrangements, and presents financing options. Knowledge and compliance with CDC , HIPAA , OSHA , and other regulations is essential. Your ability to communicate effectively is crucial for collaborating with the clinic team to meet the needs of both students and patients

Assist patients with outgoing referrals to specialists or medical professionals for treatment or consultation; coordinate care with the patient s student dentist/Faculty Lead.
