Trusted Ally Home Care in Denver, CO is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to oversee and maintain direct care staff scheduling for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Prior scheduling experience preferred.
• Home Care experience required.
• Proficient with MS Office, Google Workspace, and scheduling software.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a remote/Hybrid capacity.
• Self-starter with proactive approach to scale scheduling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to TAHC policies and procedures.
• Develop and adjust scheduling procedures to meet needs.
• Maintain staff schedules via Google Sheets, IGEA, and other systems.
• Schedule staff for call outs, sick leave, vacations.
• Contact care providers and clients for day-to-day changes.
• Maintain call-off reports and monitor reasons.
• Identify challenges and propose solutions to the Director of Nursing.
• Schedule in advance and reauthorize nursing visits within 15 days of 60-day period.
• Monitor hours and minimize overtime.

TAHC has been serving families and their loved ones since 2010. Together, with co-founder Alexander Page, they are committed to driving positive change in home health care.

Job Summary: The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the direct care staff scheduling for TAHC Home Care clients and staff.

Duties

• Understands and adheres to established TAHC Home Care policies and procedures.
• Develops, implements, and adjusts scheduling procedures to optimize agency, caregiver, and client needs.
• Creates and maintains up-to-date staff schedules via Google Spreadsheets, IGEA platform and other systems.
• Provides scheduling of staff for call outs, sick leave, vacation, long-term leave.
• Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes.
• Maintains call–off report, monitoring caregiver call-offs and reasons.
• Identifies caregiver team challenges and communicates problem and proposed solutions to the Director of Nursing.
• Schedules in advance, Reauthorization Nursing visits in IGEA within 15 days from the end of each 60-day IGEA certification period.
• Monitors caregiver hours worked by week and minimizes scheduling shifts that put caregivers into Overtime pay.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Prior scheduling experience preferred.
• Home Care experience required.
• Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office Suite, Google Office Suite and Scheduling program.
• Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Self-Starter able to work effectively and efficiently in a remote capacity.
• Brings a proactive, goal-driven focus to the role, identifying issues and solutions as early as possible to scale scheduling procedures for agency growth.
