Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED required.
• Experience: 1 year in scheduling, patient access, registration, billing, cash collections, insurance or related medical experience.
• Skills: excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to organize and prioritize in a stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect, verify, and enter patient demographics, insurance, and financial information.
• Schedule appointments, procedures, referrals, and coordinate care across providers and departments.
• Obtain insurance authorizations, referrals, and pre-certifications as required.
• Communicate insurance benefits, financial responsibilities, and billing information to patients.
• Assist patients with scheduling questions, insurance concerns, and care coordination needs.
• Collaborate with providers, referral sources, insurance carriers, and Patient Financial Services to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality standards.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding customer service.
• Support continuous process improvement through ongoing training and professional development.
