Responsibilities

• Capture high quality patient demographic and financial information via telephone or direct contact.
• Obtain information for exams that may require authorizations and coordinate with referral offices.
• Communicate with physician contacts and referral offices to schedule imaging.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance carriers requiring prior authorizations for imaging.
• Coordinate imaging schedules with follow-up/surgery appointments and physician contacts.
• Support the referral offices in using EPIC/DaVinci for outpatient radiology exams.
