Job summary

MarinHealth Medical Center is seeking a Scheduling Associate I to coordinate daily staffing across hospital departments and units. You will update shifts, balance skills, and ensure coverage for 24/7 patient care needs using WFX, ANSOS, and census tools.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in scheduling or office work, strong communication, and proficiency with Office apps. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with management and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AA/AS preferred.
• 1–2 years scheduling, staffing, or office experience desired.
• IAM certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to follow English instructions.
• Proficient with computer programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily department/unit schedules to meet staffing needs.
• Enter data into WFX, ANSOS, and census systems with accuracy.
• Coordinate urgent scheduling changes and notify management as needed.
• Attend shift huddles and assist with census reporting and overtime management.
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA/PHI compliance in all tasks.
