Job summary

CRL Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Scheduler for an advanced R&D program located on-site at Patuxent River, MD.

The role develops and maintains the Integrated Government Schedule (IGS) per DoW and NAVAIR, coordinating with Program Managers, IPTs and engineering to reflect scope, dependencies and execution strategy. You will conduct schedule risk analysis, monitor performance, and produce briefings for PMRs, IBRs and senior leadership while ensuring policy compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant scheduling experience.
• Proficient with scheduling software including task creation, dependency management and critical path analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support schedule products and briefings for PMRs, IBRs and milestone reviews.
• Ensure compliance with NAVAIR scheduling policies and DIDs.
• Evaluate IMS health and ensure compliance with CDLR Deliverables and DCMA 14-point criteria.
• Support configuration management and baseline change control including schedule impact assessments.
• Provide schedule metrics, forecasts and visualizations for informed decision-making.
• Identify schedule risks and collaborate with the Risk Management Board.
• Maintain schedule documentation for audit readiness and traceability.
• Support SRAs and mitigation planning.
• Develop and track schedule mitigation and recovery plans for at-risk milestones.

Primary Responsibilities:

The candidate will function as a Scheduler for an advanced research and development (R&D) program. The Scheduler will develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Government Schedule (IGS) in accordance with DoW and NAVAIR. They will ensure schedule integrity through proper logic, sequencing, and resource loading to accurately reflect program scope, technical dependencies, and execution strategy. The candidate will coordinate with Program Managers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Logistics, Test & Evaluation, and other functional stakeholders to collect, validate, and integrate schedule inputs. They will conduct schedule risk and critical path analysis to identify potential impacts to program milestones, test events, and delivery commitments. In addition, they will monitor schedule performance, assess variance, and analyze impacts resulting from technical changes, funding adjustments, and program risks.

• Prepare and support schedule products and briefings for Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), milestone reviews, and senior leadership briefings.
• Ensure compliance with NAVAIR scheduling policies and contractual data item descriptions (DIDs).
• Evaluate Contractor Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) health and ensure compliance with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Deliverable and DCMA 14-point assessment criteria.
• Support configuration management and baseline change control processes, including schedule impact assessments and documentation.
• Provide schedule metrics, forecasts, and visualizations to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation.
• Identify schedule risks and collaborate with the Risk Management Board to support mitigation strategies and recovery planning.
• Maintain schedule documentation, assumptions, and data integrity to ensure audit readiness and traceability.
• Support Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs) and collaborate with the Risk Management Board.
• Develop and track schedule mitigation and recovery plans for at-risk milestones.

Required Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

Required Experience:

• Candidate must have at least four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with project scheduling software (Microsoft Project (MS Project) or OpenPlan Professional (optional)), including task creation, dependency management, and critical path analysis.

Desired Experience:

• Candidate should be proficient in all Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have experience with Adobe Acrobat and share point style file sharing systems.
• Candidate should have demonstrated outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment. Special Access Program experience is a plus.

Security Clearance Required:

A Final DoD Top Secret Clearance.
