Job summary

CACI is seeking a seasoned Scheduler, Journeyman to develop, maintain, and analyze integrated master schedules for complex Indo-Pacific logistics programs. You will coordinate with Government stakeholders, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure milestones are met and resources are aligned.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will forecast schedule performance, support reviews, and promote standardized scheduling practices across the program.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance required.
  • 8+ years of experience in program scheduling or related fields.
  • Experience with DoD/ Gov programs desired.
  • Ability to brief senior Government and program leadership on schedule performance and risks.

Scheduler, Journeyman

Description:

CACI is seeking an experienced Scheduler, Journeyman to support logistics operations across the Indo-Pacific. The Scheduler, Journeyman serves as CACI's project scheduling professional responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated program and project schedules that support logistics, mission support, facilities, and operational activities. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, this position provides schedule management expertise to ensure projects are executed efficiently, milestones are achieved, and contractual requirements are met.

The Scheduler, Journeyman works closely with Government stakeholders, program leadership, project managers, functional managers, and subcontractors to develop resource-loaded schedules, monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and provide schedule analysis supporting informed decision-making. This position enables successful program execution through disciplined schedule management, performance tracking, and continuous schedule improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update integrated master schedules supporting program execution.
  • Coordinate project schedules across logistics, facilities, mission support, and operational activities.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect current execution status.
  • Identify schedule risks, delays, and critical path impacts and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate schedule development with project managers, functional managers, and subcontractors.
  • Analyze schedule performance and provide forecasting for program milestones and deliverables.
  • Support planning, resource allocation, and workload balancing across multiple projects.
  • Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and executive briefings for program leadership.
  • Support Government reviews, project status meetings, and program management reviews.
  • Ensure schedules align with contractual milestones and program objectives.
  • Maintain schedule documentation, assumptions, dependencies, and change records.
  • Support transition planning, project startup, and operational readiness activities.
  • Conduct schedule analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Coordinate schedule updates with cost, risk, and performance management activities.
  • Promote standardized scheduling processes and best practices across the program.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting program scheduling, project management, operational planning, or Government program execution.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations.
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrated master schedules for complex Government programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to brief senior Government and program leadership on schedule performance, project status, and execution risks.

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed Government programs involving multiple projects and subcontractors.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Deltek Open Plan, Microsoft 365, Power BI, or other scheduling and project management tools.
  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent project management or scheduling certifications are preferred.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
