Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the Program Manager by maintaining a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and updating the program schedule throughout the performance period.

The role involves developing and integrating IMS across projects using Microsoft Project, establishing dependencies and calendars, and leading schedule review cycles with project managers and technical leads to validate dates, durations, and upcoming activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree. Additional four (4) years of relevant experience allowed in lieu of degree.
• Two (2+) years of IMS experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project with certification(s) preferred.
• Demonstrated experience on IMS setup, baseline management and updates, schedule analysis, and critical path analysis.
• Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14-point) and Schedule Metric Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate schedule impacts from technical issues, dependencies, or changes.
• Conduct DCMA 14-point schedule assessments where applicable.
• Identify risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies affecting execution.
• Develop what-if analyses, COAs, and mitigation strategies for management decisions.
• Support schedule change-control and baseline documentation.
• Maintain schedule configuration management and version control.
• Track deliverables, milestones, and program commitments.
• Prepare reports and executive-level schedule briefings.
• Participate in internal and customer schedule reviews and communicate status.

The Opportunity:

Responsible for supporting the Program Manager in establishing a resource-loaded integrated master schedule (IMS) and maintaining / updating the schedule for the program period of performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, status, and analyze the program’s resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Microsoft Project.
• Integrate schedules across multiple projects, technical disciplines, geographic locations, and program workstreams into a consolidated program-level IMS.
• Establish and maintain logical predecessor/successor relationships, dependencies, constraints, milestones, calendars, WBS structures, and schedule coding.
• Lead recurring schedule status cycles with project managers, technical leads, and task owners to validate actual dates, remaining durations, forecast dates, percent complete, and upcoming activities.
• Perform critical path and near-critical path analysis and identify activities that may affect contractual or program milestones.
• Analyze baseline-to-current schedule variance and communicate significant changes, trends, and forecast impacts to program leadership.
• Evaluate schedule impacts resulting from technical issues, customer dependencies, logistics, site readiness, resource constraints, or changes in program execution.
• Conduct schedule health assessments using industry-standard scheduling practices and metrics, including DCMA 14-point schedule assessment criteria, as applicable.
• Identify schedule risks, issues, assumptions, and external dependencies and assess their potential impact on program execution.
• Develop what-if analyses, Courses of Action (COAs), schedule recovery options, and mitigation strategies to support management decision-making.
• Support formal schedule change-control processes, including evaluation and documentation of proposed schedule changes and impacts to approved baselines.
• Maintain schedule configuration management and version control to ensure traceability of approved changes.
• Track contractual deliverables, customer milestones, technical milestones, site-level milestones, and other key program commitments.
• Prepare schedule reports, milestone summaries, schedule variance analyses, look-ahead reports, and executive-level schedule briefings.
• Participate in internal and customer schedule reviews and communicate schedule status, risks, dependencies, and required decisions to Program Management and Government stakeholders.
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams to identify schedule conflicts, monitor action items, and support timely resolution of issues affecting program execution.
• Maintain schedule-management standards, including WBS integrity, naming conventions, calendars, status dates, logic, and other IMS governance requirements.
• Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with standard of best project practice
• Track, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow the project teams to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reports
• Maintain the program’s resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and provide updates to the customer.
• Ensure accuracy of project schedules and performed version control
• Co-ordinate project schedules, tasks, meeting updates, and efficient distribution of reports
• Prepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrity
• Monitor projects’ progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date
• Track baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plans
• Perform coordination of cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and work with the project manager to ensure resolution.

Qualifications :

• Demonstrated experience on programs with responsibility for development and execution of the IMS, including setup, baseline management and update/maintenance, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, SRAs, resource loading, and CDRL deliveries
• Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14-point check) and Schedule Metric Analysis – such as BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$65,000 - $136,500
