MAAS is recruiting a Senior Scheduler in California to lead the program schedule across nine college campuses. You will build and coordinate schedules, review contractor plans, and manage time-impact analyses and cost-loaded cash flow.
You will perform earned value analyses, evaluate change orders, and participate in negotiations with a data-driven approach. This role requires extensive experience on large construction programs and frequent site visits.
LACCD is rebuilding nine college campuses with bond money. Harbor College is one of them. You are the senior scheduler on that program, and you are the person who can say what a delay actually costs and who is responsible for it.
You build and coordinate the project schedules. You review what the contractor submits and check it against the contract. You look at every change order and amendment and work out what it does to the budget and the schedule. When a job slips, you run the time impact analysis, you write up what happened, and you sit in the negotiation with the numbers behind you.
You also do the cost side: analysis across design and construction, actual spending against budget, and cost loaded schedules that show the District when money will go out the door.
Salary range: $166,000 to $182,000 per year, based on experience.
MAAS has spent nearly 40 years earning the trust of 50+ educational institutions across California, managing over $10B in projects. That track record means the work here is stable, funded, and consequential. You are not chasing the next contract.
As a MAAS employee, you are also an owner. The company is 100% employee-owned through an ESOP, a retirement benefit provided at no cost to you, on top of your salary. MAAS is a profitable, well-run organization and our share price has more than doubled since the plan's inception, with continued growth year over year. Your ownership stake builds the longer you stay, and ESOP participants nationally tend to accumulate 2.5x more in retirement savings than employees at non-ESOP companies.
In an industry not known for prioritizing culture, 96% of MAAS employees say it is a great place to work, and 100% say people genuinely care about each other.
