Job summary

Procom is seeking a Scheduler for a 12-month hybrid role with three days onsite at the client’s Charleston, WV office. The role focuses on project planning, scheduling, and coordinating with project managers to align plans with scope and objectives.

The candidate will develop level 1–3 schedules, ensure alignment with WBS, and create monthly reporting packages while assessing risks to the project schedule. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree and 5–10 years related experience in scheduling.
• Strong understanding of scheduling fundamentals (CP, dependencies, baselines).
• Experience with moderate-risk capital projects and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop Level 1–3 project schedules aligned to WBS and baselines.
• Prepare schedule basis documents and integrate detailed schedules.
• Review sequencing, resourcing, and constraints for accuracy.
• Create monthly scheduling reporting packages and risk awareness.

Scheduler:On behalf of our Project Services client, Procom is searching for a Scheduler for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Charleston, West Virginia office.Scheduler - Job Description:The Scheduler will provide project management support services with a focus on project planning and scheduling. This role involves collaborating with project managers to develop and review project plans, schedules, and resources, ensuring alignment with project scope and schedule objectives.Scheduler - Responsibilities:• Develop Level 1 - 3 project schedules• Ensure project schedule aligns to company standard WBS• Create schedule basis documents• Assist in the preparation and integration of detailed engineering/construction schedules• Review schedule sequencing, resourcing, and constraints for accuracy• Create monthly scheduling reporting packages• Participate in HRIM and QRA to understand risk impacts to the project scheduleScheduler - Mandatory Skills:• University degree with 5 to 10 years of related experience• Good understanding of project scheduling fundamentals (critical path, dependencies, constraints, baselines, etc.)• Experience with executing moderate-risk capital projects of different asset types• Strong problem-solving skills• Excellent communication skills• Teamwork-oriented• Accessible and approachableScheduler – Nice-to-Have Skills:• Experience in the oil and gas industry• Familiarity with project management software tools• Knowledge of project controls and monitoring procedures• Ability to analyze and report on project data and costs• Experience in both Development and Implementation phasesScheduler – Assignment Length:This is a 12-month position.Scheduler - Start Date:ASAPScheduler - Assignment Location:Charleston, West Virginia, United States.
