Plexos Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support infrastructure, construction, housing, capital improvement, and disaster recovery projects. You will develop, monitor, and analyze project schedules and provide project controls throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in construction scheduling, critical path analysis, schedule risk assessment, and schedule recovery planning. This role collaborates with project teams to keep initiatives on track.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction scheduling and project controls.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update baseline and progress schedules for assigned projects.
  • Prepare and analyze project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software.
  • Review contractor and consultant schedules for logic, sequencing, durations, completeness, and contractual compliance.
  • Monitor actual project progress against approved schedules and identify schedule variances.
  • Perform critical path and float analyses to identify activities affecting project completion.
  • Evaluate schedule impacts associated with delays, change orders, differing site conditions, and other project events.
  • Prepare schedule recovery analyses and recommendations to mitigate delays.
  • Generate schedule reports, look-ahead schedules, milestone updates, and management reporting.
  • Coordinate scheduling efforts with project managers, engineers, estimators, financial specialists, contractors, and consultants.
  • Maintain supporting documentation for schedule assumptions, updates, progress evaluations, and analyses.
  • Participate in project meetings and present schedule performance updates and risk assessments.
  • Review contractor schedule updates, requests for time extensions, and schedule-related contract compliance issues.

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our talent pipeline for anticipated infrastructure, construction, housing, capital improvement, and disaster recovery projects. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and monitoring project schedules while providing project controls support throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in construction scheduling, critical path analysis, schedule risk assessment, and schedule recovery planning.

What You'll Do

As a Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring projects remain on track by developing reliable schedules, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and supporting project teams with accurate schedule information.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in: Construction Scheduling, Schedule Development, Project Controls, Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling, Schedule Analysis or Related Project Controls Functions
  • Experience developing and maintaining project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple project stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of project controls, earned value, and cost/schedule integration.
  • PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification preferred.
