Job summary

PMCS Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support a major Southern California public agency's disaster rebuild program. The role focuses on developing and maintaining CPM baseline schedules, integrating multiple projects, and ensuring contract compliance with time-impact analyses and earned value reporting.

Hybrid work in Los Angeles area. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of scheduling on public capital or construction projects, advanced Primavera and MS Project skills, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project scheduling experience on public capital or construction projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Project.
• Education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presenting schedule status to management.
• Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop CPM baseline schedules and update them regularly.
• Build and maintain an integrated master program schedule across multiple projects.
• Review contractor baseline schedules, monthly updates, and recovery schedules for compliance.
• Prepare and evaluate time impact analyses and delay claims.
• Perform resource and cost loading and support earned value reporting.
• Produce schedule narratives, look-ahead schedules, milestone reports, and executive summaries.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, contractors, and partner agencies to identify schedule risks and mitigations.

Scheduler II/III - Disaster Recovery & Rebuild Capital Program

PMCS Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support a major Southern California public agency's disaster rebuild program. You will manage schedules for a portfolio of recovery and rebuild capital projects valued at approximately $800 million. Your work will keep critical infrastructure on track and help communities recover.

What You'll Do

• Develop CPM baseline schedules and maintain them through regular updates
• Build and maintain an integrated master program schedule across multiple concurrent projects
• Review contractor baseline schedules, monthly updates, and recovery schedules for contract compliance, factoring in community meetings, partner agency work, and funding sources
• Prepare and evaluate time impact analyses and delay claims
• Perform resource and cost loading and support earned value reporting
• Produce schedule narratives, look-ahead schedules, milestone reports, and executive summaries
• Coordinate with project managers, design consultants, contractors, and partner agencies to identify schedule risks and mitigation options

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years (Scheduler II) or 15+ years (Scheduler III) of project scheduling experience on public capital or construction projects, from design through construction and close-out
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Project
• Education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presenting schedule status to management
• Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Disaster recovery or post-disaster rebuild program experience
