Job summary

JF Hawkins Nursing Home is seeking a Scheduler/Central Supply CNA to efficiently schedule nursing staff to meet facility and regulatory requirements and to manage inventory of supplies. The role combines scheduling responsibilities with central supply duties in a patient-centered care environment.

The ideal candidate holds CNA certification, has at least one year of long-term care experience, and will contribute to a positive, growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• CNA is required and long term care experience preferred.
• Education: High School or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: One year of long term care experience, CNA required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and posts work schedules at least two weeks prior to schedule start.
• Contacts replacement personnel and modifies schedule when required.
• Maintains a current listing of employee contact numbers for call-in.
• Coordinates time off requests with the Director of Nursing.
• Notifies Director of Nursing of short staffing situations.
