Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Cape May Court House seeks a Scheduling Coordinator for Diagnostic Imaging. You will promptly answer calls, explain testing instructions, and schedule services with accurate patient demographics and appointment details.

You will obtain and record patient insurance, referrals, and financial documents, explain requirements, and enter information in the CAST tracking tool according to office protocol.

Short Description

• Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls. Provides complete explanation of testing instructions and preparations.

• Schedules services, ensuring all aspects of appointments are appropriate and accurate, including patient demographics and appointment details.

• Obtains and records patient insurance, prescription, referral and other financial and clinical documents. Explains financial requirements to the patients or responsible parties. Verifies insurance eligibility and ensures that insurance requirements are met prior to delivery of service.

• Accurately processes all requests and documents appropriate information in CAST tracking tool based on established office protocol.

Experience Required

• Experience in Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling.
• Previous data entry or typing experience and knowledge of basic office equipment required. Computer experience required.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
